We source our almonds from domestic suppliers and carefully inspect each batch. Almonds are shelled and then packaged as whole nuts in the skin. Almonds supply a wholesome source of nutrition and heart-healthy antioxidants as well as great flavor. Available in bulk and perfect for bakeries, food manufacturers and retail outlets.

This product is roasted in peanut oil.

Our roasted almonds add flavor, texture and nutrition. Lightly roasted to perfection, we offer a variety of flavors including honey roasted, cinnamon and smokehouse.

The Roasting Process 

Almonds, like many other tree nuts, can come in the raw or roasted. In many cases, roasted almonds are baked with oil or what is called a dry roast. Dry roasting consists of baking the nut meat with no added cooking oil, helping to preserve many of the health benefits.

Roasted vs Raw Almonds 

When an almond is roasted, it is cooked to add to its flavor, taste, aroma and crunchiness. All nuts are roasted without their shell (except pistachios) and roasting also allows for the adding of other flavors like honey or cinnamon.

Roasted almonds will have an uptick in calories and fat compared to raw almonds if oil is used in the cooking process. Beneficial nutrients will also be reduced slightly. Dry roasting is when the process is done with no added oil.

Raw almonds do not experience further cooking outside of pasteurization for safety. This helps to preserve maximum health benefits.
